A Slytherin at Hogwarts River was the exception to the rule. A nice boy he never really fit in with his house (other than being smart and gifted with magic) so he tended to hang out more with folks in other houses. A popular student with teachers River became a spell inventor... Which provided him with instant celebrity status in the wizarding world.
River is quirky, energetic, intelligent, experiences bouts of grumpiness (intense highs and lows), and is particularly proud of his large book and tome collection. His best friend is his cat Scrambles. She has one eye. Don't ever mess with her.
