Plot with Lucas Hartwell

Lucas Hartwell is a chaser for Puddlemere United and reserve chaser for the English National team. Puddlemere happens to be owned by his father. This is a fact Lucas hates, as his father was very abusive towards him growing up, and everyone assumes he has his position because of his father. He was in the same year as Oliver Wood at Hogwarts, and was in Ravenclaw.

He likely has friends, enemies and maybe even some relationships. Just be aware he has feelings towards Amelia Evans, but that is one very complicated situation.

Amelia and Lucas attended Hogwarts together (different years and different houses). They were friends but the kind of friends who show their friendship by bickering playfully. She would call him names like troll and idiot (affectionately) but also Flyboy and Prettyboy (these are even more affectionate). They kissed one night after his senior party but then didn't do anything about it until adults they crossed paths and spent a night together. She found out that morning that he was on a team... with Oliver (her on again off again bf) and felt that she was lied to (or misled) so now they're on very bad terms. These things can be worked out though.

I'm super interested to see if they ever come to terms with their feelings or how they'll relate once Alicia is back in the picture. All three of them should be super interesting (maybe if we get an Oliver too until then I can NPC him).

Dislike him or not Amelia is still protective of him and will go toe to toe with his father if need be.

Sounds all good. I think he didn't even think of it, he was just pissed at the move (cause you know he didn't want it) and didn't think to go Hey before this lady I'm attracted to spends a night with her I better tell her I was traded to the same team as the guy shes been with (off/on) since hs. He'd feel awful that he messed it up like that though.

I'm interested to see how it would be if they came to their term and such. She's probably the first person he ever tells about the whole abuse thing, and even then I'm not sure he meant to let that cat out of the bag.

Imma be honest with you, if Susie ever meets Lucas, she is going to freak out. Puddlemere was her local team growing up and she's a diehard fan to this day; she's a season ticket holder for matches and makes a point of keeping up with the league. So I have nothing for this other than Susie kind of fangirling a little bit if they ever ran into each other, but I figured I would toss it your way!

Haha. Well I think Lucas probably grew up in the Puddlemere area (as his dad owns the team), so maybe they had run into each other before as kids? After school he went to Australia for about 5 years, and has been back since just after the Battle of Hogwarts, and has been with Puddlemere since back. So it might be interesting to see them now. Lucas would totally be down to earth and just a normal person with her (even if she is fan girling)

All the purebloods gotta band together! (Even if they're not actually pure... But her parents are keeping that on the down low) Like you mentioned, they could know each other from pureblood events, even if they didn't want to go.

Cora loves Quidditch, so they have that in common, even if she never dared try out for the team. He's a couple of years older and in a different house, but I'm guessing she went to every single match - she'll probably attend random local matches of his if and when she can. She could possibly have a running joke with him about over-exaggeratedly fangirling over him and asking for his autograph every time they see each other?

Yeah. Lucas would have gone to a bunch of them growing up, since his dad is a pureblood, and an influential one at that. The running joke would be funny. I sort of like that idea.

So I'm thinking friends? There only a year apart in age, and they were both in Ravenclaw so I feel like they would have known each other in school..

As I said in the cbox, they may actually have been in the same year, depending on when her birthday is (He just turned 28 in December), but regardless I could see them being friends for sure. He would have spent many hours in the library as well.

They would probably be the same age then, either way Stella would have spent a lot of time in library also. So friends sounds good!
