25 -- Professional Quidditch Player -- It's Complicated
Amelia (aka Evans, Ames) is a muggle born American who was thrown into the wizarding world to play professional Quidditch at a very young age. She attended Hogwarts as a Gryffindor and while she's not too great at magic she's amazing on the pitch. Having recently received multiple MVP awards she is also the Co-Captain of the winning US National Quidditch Team.
Amelia is loyal, stubborn, sarcastic, and also pretty guarded. That's not to say she isn't a good friend. She's hardworking, determined, and can be extremely caring once she lets her protective walls down. She also loves a good party... Who doesn't?
She has an on again off again relationship with Puddlemere Reserve Keeper (and ex classmate) Oliver Wood which has been going on since Hogwarts. It's currently off again - The result of his newfound alcoholism and secret abusive tendencies (as the result of bitterness of never quite making it).

Ok, so they'd be former dorm mates and team mates. Being forced to live together, and going through what might have amounted to a significant amount of team bonding, they were probably relatively close at Hogwarts. At least enough to vent to each other, and stay up late chatting. Now that they've graduated I'd think they'd be a bit estranged, even if they still chatted relatively regularly, since they wouldn't see each other as often. Especially after Alicia's injury, she knows Amelia's her friend and anything but she'd be rather sour about Amelia still being active playing Quidditch while Alicia was utterly sidelined. Alicia's been so wrapped up in her own stuff so she probably wouldn't be at all aware of what's going on between Oliver and Amelia, but if she ever ended up finding out she certainly wouldn't be pleased.
I'm pretty much up for anything, if you have any other ideas
Totally game for all of this. I don't know if you read the current (past) thread we have but Amelia and Lucas have feelings for each other and have since high school. Alicia had a huge crush on Lucas at Hogwarts which Amelia, as her roommate, would probably know about and try to help... Even though secretly she's confused herself.
I can't wait until these two bump into each other again. Amelia is lousy at keeping in touch for sure so it wouldn't be for any particular reason. She's just busy and gets swept up in things.
Cora and Amelia would have been in the same year at school, therefore they more than likely shared some classes - maybe Cora's got a bit of a hero worship thing going on for Amelia?

So Stella is a little bit older, but I'm thinking maybe Stella is a little jealous of Amelia's talent when playing Quidditch (Stella is terrible at flying). I could see Stella probably not liking that Amelia would be able to connect with Stella's Husband (who used to play Quidditch) in a way that Stella never could?
That sounds fun so I'm all for it! Amelia would be oblivious as to why she's disliked but it's also possible Stella's friendship with Lucas at Hogwarts is another reason they didn't get along (Amelia would be clueless to his crush on her).
