about
Susie here is a 24 year old Hufflepuff alumni working in the Administrative Registry Department of the DMLE at the Ministry. Born and raised in Puddlemere, she's a diehard Puddlemere United fan, and wears her team's colours with pride - along with her House colours; Hufflepuff pride never dies!
She's also the niece of the famous Amelia Bones, head of the DMLE until her death in the summer before Susan's sixth year, and the last surviving Bones of her generation after her aunt, uncle and cousins were killed when Susie was only an infant herself. Hers is a family that has suffered plenty, and Susan herself was hit by two curses in the Battle of Hogwarts - one in her shoulder, and one in her leg - that have left their mark. After the Battle, she returned to Hogwarts to take her NEWTs, having spent what should have been her seventh year on the run, and then took up an internship in the DMLE before progressing to her current position.
She's a driven young woman determined to live up to Aunt's legacy, and someday take her place as the head of the DMLE. She lives by the rules of fairness and hard work instilled in her by her family and her Hogwarts House, and holds herself to a strict moral code. She's pretty much an old lady already, in all honesty; she likes curling up with tea and a book and her cat rather than going out. She's stubborn and holds fast to routines and structure, and struggles greatly with change. She's serious and she's always been a quiet sort, often going unnoticed but none the less, she leaves an impact. It's hard to get her to crack a smile, but ultimately worth it.
Unfailingly honest, though never cruel with it, she tries hard to be as fair as she can be, despite not beliving in moral shades of grey. She's honorable and loyal and believes in doing the right thing, and working towards facilitating a society that enables and ancourages that for everyone. Do not tell her she can't do something - because she'll do it just to prove you wrong.

friends
Susie is a good friend to have. She's steadfastly loyal, and always has an insightful, thought-out solution to any problem. She's supportive and encouraging, and has a lot of love to give - she's just not especially demonstrative with ehr affection, so it isn't immediately obvious. She does tend to be quite stoic and serious, and tends towards logic over emotions - so if you have a problem and just want to vent about it, Susie probably isn't the right friend for that, but if you want a plan of action to solve the problem, then she's your girl!
She tries to show that she cares in the ways that she knows - tidying up after someone, offering meeting notes, and really thoughtful gifts based off something her friends said six months ago. She does best in small groups of people or one on one, and so probably has very few close friends just because she flourishes most that way. She puts a lot of work into her friendships, and expects the same in return. She's also super protective of her friends, and will go toe to toe with someone in defense of them.
Susie really needs loyalty and patience in her friends. She expects her own loyalty and care to be returned, and will eventually drop friends who don't put the same amount of effort into their relationship that she does. She also needs a willingness to drag her away from work and make sure she eats and sleeps enough, and at least tries to relax, because she's terrible at looking after herself.

enemies
Susie has a really black and white view of morality, and a long memory. There's not really an inbetween with her, you're either wrong or right, and whilst she might forgive, she's not going to forget a slight. Trust broken is ill-repaired with Susie. It's not exactly hard to get on her shit list, either - hurting someone she cares about is a big one, as is being on the wrong side of the law. She really struggles with people who manipulate the system and others to their own gain, too. She's a great believer in fairness and justice, so people who exploit others, and who get away with screwing up are definitely going to be enemies for her, as are blood purists on principle.
lovers
Susie is a really awkward human generally, let alone when she's interested in someone romantically. She doesn't really get flirting, or how to go about letting someone know you like them in any way other than just telling them, and dating conventions confuse her. She's ace and panromantic, and has no preferences in regards to gender, but has zero experience sexually and romantically. She hasn't given much thought to dating before now, and isn't actively looking, but I think that a romantic storyline could be really interesting for Susie.
Though she hasn't pursued dating before, Susie's attracted to intelligent people who are considerate of her and the accommodations she needs. She likes people who have a lot of patience, and who've shown loyalty in the past. She's more likely to develop a crush on a friend than she is a stranger, as they've already proved that they care about her by now. She likes people who can keep up with her in a debate, who'll listen to her rambles about legislation and policies, annd who can challenge her ideas and arguments. She likes people who can hold her own, but have a similar outlook on the world as she does - that is, that fairness is paramount, and with a similar moral compass.
As a girlfriend, Susie would be a lot to handle. As with her friends, patience is the most important thing in order to keep up with her, because she could become quite clingy after opening her heart up to someone like that for fear of abandonment after losing so many people in her life already. However, she would make for a thoughtful girlfriend, taking the time and effort to give gifts and plan dates that her partner truly enjoys. She's happy to let her partner take the lead, so long as surprises aren't sprung on her, and really isn't the jealous type.
