26 // twin sister
flora vesta carrow
I'm looking for Hestia's twin sister, Flora. They're the daughters of Mygdon and Rhea Carrow; Mygdon is the younger brother of Amycus and Alecto Carrow. Both girls are highly aware of what their last name means, and when the war ended, testified against their family and aunt and uncle as a way to prove their innocence. Mygdon and the twins were locked up, whilst Rhea went free. Hestia and Flora have had no contact with the rest of their family since.
Flora is the opposite of Hestia in so many ways; she's soft where Hestia's hard, affectionate where Hestia's cold, kind where Hestia's cruel. She's far more feminine than her twin, and far more practical and logical, too. She's dealing with the fallout of the war far better than Hestia is; whilst Hestia struggles to deal with the reputation they have because of their family and is angry and lashing out because of it, Flora's just getting on with her life. Make no mistake though, for all their differences, they are still twins, and Flora was a Slytherin like her sister. She can be as devious and as cunning as they come, she just chooses not to be.
The twins live together in a tiny, poky flat off Diagon Alley. They haven't really touched their inheritance - their father's incarceration has led them to be sole beneficiaries of the Carrow estate - other than when absolutely necessary, and they're both working low end jobs to make ends meet, Hestia in clubs and bars, and I have Flora down as working in a library in Hestia's app. Flora is everything good in Hestia's life and she holds her up on something of a pedestal, but Flora is also who stops Hestia going completely off the rails. I'd like for them to be identical twins, and to that end her playby is Alexandra Park, but I'm open to the idea of them being fraternal twins instead! I've put Vesta down as her middle name because I'm pretty attached to the idea of their names being mirrors - Hestia's middle name Chloris is the Greek counterpart to the Roman goddess Flora.

26+ // love interest
mr. mystery
Look, I'm trash for The Royals and for Jaspenor so yes, I'm requesting a Tom Austen for Hestia. The idea I have is that he comes into her life completely accidentally, and shows absolutely no interest in sleeping with her whatsoever. This confuses the hell out of Hestia, who's used to guys being up for a one night stand with her, if nothing else, but they wind up becoming mates, poking fun at each other and generally winding each other up. She lets her guard down around him a bit, and over time they start developing genuine feelings.
I think the easiest way for him to enter her life is through work, in all honesty - which would mean he'd have to work at one of the clubs Hestia works for. There is, however, a complication - he doesn't give much of himself away, despite her opening up to him. I could see this being for a number of reasons - he has family who were hurt by her extended family in the war and he's seeking revenge, or he could have some kind of journalistic interest in her, or something else. Then, of course, he catches feelings, and eventually has to fess up - or gets found out, which could be equally interesting.
I'd like for him to be Hestia's age or older, so 26 and up. Like I said, playby is Tom Austen, and I'm pretty sold on this one!
