Hestia, or Hex if she really really likes you, is the oldest daughter of Mygdon and Rhea Carrow, her only sibling being her younger-by-ten-minutes twin, Flora. Mygdon is the younger brother of Amycus and Alecto Carrow and Hestia's had to carry the weight of that with her for her entire life. She was a Slytherin in school, like every Carrow in the history of the universe, and she had a reputation then for being callous and uncaring, which she's kept to this day. She's fiercely loyal to her sister and only her sister, having testified against her parents and aunt and uncle when the war ended as a way to prove she'd had nothing to do with any of it, no matter how much they tried to force her. 

She's the opposite of a pureblood princess in so many ways; she's a fighter and she kind of hates everybody and she's terrible at socialising. She's incapable of dressing herself up to play the part; she lives in ripped jeans and leather pants and wears way too much eyeliner, and she's far from demure and submissive. Rather, she's loud, confrontational and smokes like a chimney and has no desire to listen to anybody telling her what to do ever. 

She's currently working in a sort-of-trendy club behind the bar because she's a pro at mixing cocktails and the nights she's not working there she's hitting the streets promoting another trendy club which she kind of hates because she's sick of guys hitting on her all the time but she's not allowed to hex them or she'll get fired. Again.

Hestia is so bad at making friends it's not even funny. Her whole life she's stuck close to her twin sister Flora and she's basically incapable of making nice with someone without Flora there to mediate. She's sarcastic and cold as hell to other people and just generally bad at positive human interactions. Honestly most of the people she hangs out with other than her sister are probably people she gets drunk with and little else, but she does need people in her life who call her on her BS and don't scare easy.

Pretty much everyone, tbh. She's a Carrow and she knows what that means. there are plenty of people in her generation who were tortured by her aunt and uncle - and she doesn't begrudge them for wanting to stay away from her. She does, however, take issue with people constantly ragging on her for it - she wasn't the one who threw the curses, she was the one who testified to get the lot of them locked up, and she'd much rather people just left her alone. If they start on her, she's not afraid to fight back, even though she knows it's a bad idea.

Hestia's never had a serious relationship before. She's slept around a lot and has since she was a teenager, but she's never let herself get attached to anyone, and she's never found anyone worth breaking that for. She also kind of thinks she's completely unlovable and that nobody would touch her with a ten foot bargepole because of her name - and the people she does sleep with these days tend to get off on the idea of her being dangerous, so she's not entirely wrong. 

I really would like of her to find someone though, someone who's patient and will put up with her issues and help her work through them without giving her much leeway to pull her usual tricks of shoving people out in the cold. Also someone with a bit of a mischievous streak, and who can encourage her to do something better with her life, and help her figure out what that is.

@gabriel - So, these two have known each other for a bit since Gabriel just 'showed up' and took the job as a bouncer at the club she works at. They certainly have an interesting dynamic, Gabriel more than enjoys pushing her buttons - not that he'll admit that he enjoys it. Obviously he's just trying to 'get to the bottom of her' whatever and whenever that will be. I see him putting up with her, and getting used to her, whilst telling himself that it's just some sort of experiment - weighing her or something. Except eventually it's not just about that.

Ahhhh I'm so excited for this!!! It's a really interesting one because despite him pushing her buttons, she's starting to relax around him and be less catty and more friendly-sarcastic? When it comes out why he's hanging around she's going to go absolutely mental and properly lay into him for it, mostly because she's going to be really hurt by the whole thing? Like, she's fighting so hard to get past her name and she thought he was different, only to find out that he's just as bad as everyone else, if not worse. It's probably gonna take a hell of a lot to get back in her good books lol, but I'm super exited for it!!

Hestia and Flora are twins. They have been through hell and back together and there is nothing that Flora would not do for her sister. They are identical twins yes but their personalities cannot be more different. Flora likes color, order, all things cute and adorable. In fact one can actually tell which is which by looking at the clothes they're wearing. Not that Flora would not be caught wearing pants, it's more of, Flora preferred to be dynamic and try new things all the time.

I could see them having a sort of strange relationship. I can see Stella being proud of how Hestia testified against her family... I'm thinking maybe Stella would maybe try to be friends with Hestia, but possibly try to hard? Maybe Stella annoys her at first but then she eventually could break through? I'm just throwing stuff out here (:
