Xander here is 28, Irish born and bred, a bartender and musician, the new father/guardian to two toddlers, and a werewolf. He moved to London at 18 to try and pursue music and spent a year partying it up. Then Voldemort's return went public, and Xander ended up joining the Order rather than return home to the relative safety of the Republic of Ireland. He ended up being bitten by a rogue werewolf on a scouting mission for the Order, but didn't register his new-found status until the recent repeal of the anti-legislation laws. Six months ago, his two sisters and their spouses were killed in an accident, leaving behind a child each - and Xander's ended up being the one to step up and take care of them, as his mother's health is failing and she can't keep up with two toddlers. They go to his mother on full moon nights, and he's doing his best to get by.

He's trying to put a brave face on it for the sake of the kids, but the truth is that he's struggling to live with these two tiny reminders of his baby sisters. It's trailed off in recent months for obvious reasons, but he's itching to get his guitar back out, and he's been eyeing up an old, beat up upright piano that he reckons would just about fit in his living room, like in the house he grew up in.

Xander's a bit of a smooth talker and a charmer, it's not exactly hard for him to get people on his side. He's got a knack for making people feel special and opening up to him without necessarily being honest in return, but right now he really needs loyal, trustworthy friends who don't let him get away with his usual crap and who don't mind taking on babysitting duties from time to time. Now he's the guardian of his niece and nephew his priorities have shifted, so he's less inclined to go out driving with his mates and partying it up like he used to - chances are he's lost some friends this way, and he's looking for a new circle of people who get it.

Much as it's easy for him to make friends, Xander's also cocky and arrogant and kind of a jackass when he wants to be. He definitely rubs people the wrong way, and he's not afraid to get into fights. He's tried to be more careful about that in recent years, especially now he has the kids to think of, but the urge to swing a few punches when he's angry is still there. Add in the fact that he's a registered werewolf and he's bound to have issues with other people, even though he takes his wolfsbane religiously.

Xander has a long history of one night stands and ex's. He's an incorrigible flirt and up until he took custody of the kids, it wasn't uncommon for him to be with someone new every night. He flirts with pretty much everyone, charming and affectionate, and doesn't discriminate by gender. He's attracted to people with a bit of spark to them, with passion and desire and ambition, who don't back down from confrontation and won't just let him have his way. Since having the kids he's stayed a flirt, but he hooks up with other people rarely, only when someone else has the kids for the night - and that really doesn't happen often outside of full moons. He might be interested in dating more seriously but he's wary of it, not wanting to introduce someone to the kids unless they're going to stick around for good.
