Camille is a shy type of person. Afraid of rejection and afraid for people to know about her half Veela side. Despite her quite and observant nature, she is a very caring person. It just take a while for her to trust new people and more so to tell them about her heritage. She knows she wants to make friends with more people and so she has made it a personal goal to let people inside her world more. As most Ravenclaws, she hung out at the Library for most of her day in Hogwarts and even became a library assistant during her last three years at Hogwarts.

Camille is in constant awe of people who speak their minds. Something that she is very hesitant to do and tend to gravitate toward them as the person who listens to their stories and jokes. Her quiet nature didn't hinder her curiosity though. She would be curious about something or a person's adventure, but instead of asking the person to tell her more about it she'd just dive into her books and research by herself. She learned to open up more when she joined the Order of the Pheonix to fight in the 2nd Wizarding war. All it ever takes Camille is a little push and she will break out of her shell like she as done so during the Battle at Hogwarts where she let herself take up arms and fight death eaters. Then again, the war wasn't really a "little" push. After the war, Camille spent a few years making her own spells and was then appointed Charms professor.

As a Half Veela, Camille has the natural talent to attract men. Something she'd never taken advantage of. She reads about love, and watches other people fall in love. She adores love stories and all that fantastical occurrences of true love; but she believes that anyone who would fall in love with her is just under her Veela magic and does not really love her for herself. She has often steered clear of relationships as much as she can. She hates those types of people. Who only see her as a witch with good looks who uses it to her advantage. Then again she isn't really accepting of her Veela side either.

So this will be Cora's first year teaching at Hogwarts, and it looks like Camille was probably in the year above her at school anyway so Cora would certainly know of her... Maybe they know each other quite well as Cora spent a lot of time in the library too?

It would make a lot of sense that they know each other especially since they are both young professors. Camille was a year older than Cora in school, but serving as a library assistant, Camille knows who frequents the library. Although it isn't in Camille's nature to start a conversation she has talked to Cora before. Being as shy as she is she would mostly smile and nod when seeing Cora around the school. She does however love bringing Cora books and that has been what made their friendship less awkward, Camille would share some of her books with Cora and maybe discuss it after.

I feel like if Celyn met her they would be at the very least friendly. Would her Veela heritage be known, if not as general knowledge then as something accessible to Magizoologist? He could have come across her family name during his travels and extensive research when he was younger. In that case, he would probably be politely interested in learning about it (and seeing if her charm would work on him). Either way, he would definitely be interested in chatting with her about charms and which ones would be better for his magical creatures, keeping them contained among other things.

Ohh, Kjerstin might know Camille from the cafe, maybe? She would be more than willing to give Camille cookies That said, maybe they could bond over books? Granted, Kjerstin sticks more to recipe books and the like but perhaps Camille could shove her towards some cooking charms?

Camille likes to think that she keeps her Veela heritage underwraps but of course she can't always do that. I believe Celyn would definitely be able to find out that she was a Veela since he is a Magizoologist and would mostlikely come across Camille's heritage of being a Veela. Camille would ultimately be shy in talking about her half-breed nature so openly to him in fear that she may be judged by him and or that she maybe accused of seducing him. Although I can see that Camille would ease up to Celyn quite fast as she admires his passion for magical creatures that she has always found fascinating. I see Camille and Celyn as friends as she loves charms and discovering things and would surely help him out with charms to help him better manage his creatures. I could see her piling alot of books on Celyn not aware that he probably wrote some of them and have read most of them and she'd be really embarrassed when he pointed it out.

Camille loves reading in general and I can totally see her hanging around Kjerstin and exchanging books with her. I can totally see Kjerstin teaching Camille to bake cookies which she loves very much. 

Celyn Delacroix - That sounds good. I imagine it just having been a minor project, tracing beings and all that, and him having just kind of stumbled across the information. He'd totally go after anyone who tried to insinuate she was trying to seduce him, and pointedly asked if she seduced him into friendship because he's totally not into her, or any other woman, that way. Friends sounds good, though, and he would certainly appreciate her help with his charms. He'd certainly be amused if she threw his own books at him, but he'd try not to mention it at least at first. Sounds good!


@kjerstin - Book exchanges sound great, and cooking lessons would definitely be interesting

We could start off by Camille walking into the shop and greeting kjerstin and kjerstin having a cookie ready for her. That would be adorable

@gabriel - So, Gabe here might have known Camille at school, but given they were in separate houses and had quite the age gap it'd probably be a passing acquaintance. Though, they probably would have known each other from the Order, since Gabriel joined up when things began to get heated.

@gabriel - That makes sense. Camille probably knows Gabriel from the order but she would have probably not talked to him too much. She is severely shy and especially tried to avoid guys. She wasn't the most social butterfly in the order but she knew everyone and her allies.

I feel like they probably knew each other in school, both having been in Ravenclaw and only being a year apart in age, maybe they are friends?

Could Camille and Ilse be friends? They are contemporaries and young teachers at Hogwarts, and both quite shy. They could have definitely known of each other at Hogwarts, been somewhat friendly, and now find themselves thrown together again after a long time and wanting to reconnect/connect properly.
I can imagine Camille would find Ilse's straightforwardness quite startling once they reach that point, and Ilse will find Camille quite intimidating, particularly since she would find her beautiful, smart and nice: the perfect combination for her barely-existent ego to implode on particularly bad days.
She'd admire Camille a lot, but it could take a while for them to really get together and open up.
